The Upper School Show is always a highlight of the Autumn Term and this year’s was no exception. The production of George and Ira Gershwin’s exuberant musical ‘Crazy For You’ was a huge success and great fun to watch.
Y13 student Alanna played Tess in ‘Crazy For You’. She had this to say about the experience:
“Being a part of ‘Crazy For You’ was a challenging but fulfilling experience. As the most dance-heavy musical KAS has put on so far, there were lots of high energy rehearsals and when, one week before the show, our choreographer got Covid, we had to work as a team to recap and neaten the dances ourselves. It was especially great to make so many friends across of all of the school years, and we were proud when our hard work paid off in the form of three successful performances.”
Congratulations to all the staff and students who took part, learnt lines, practiced dances, sewed costumes, built sets, played instruments, assisted backstage and did the myriad of small tasks which go into a big show like this one.
