Year 7 Stir Up Success with Global Food Fair

Year 7 raised money for Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation during their Project Week (Monday 17 – Friday 21 June 2024) by creating and running food stalls.
Over the Monday and Tuesday of Project Week, the students were put into their Crews and split into three groups of three. These three groups were then divided across cooking, constructing wooden stalls and marketing.
One of the cooks, Marni, said: “We had to make food stalls from around the world and we got France, so we’re making crepes. We’re learning all about communication, collaboration and independence. We had to make the food ourselves and keep under a £60 budget.”
This was a fantastic opportunity to see the students working together to bring a brilliant set of food stalls to the field for the 3.30pm Lower School pick-up rush! Well done to all those who participated – the food was definitely tasty!
